Ages 11-15.

Learn basic first aid and caregiving skills. Participants will learn how to provide for younger children in a variety of age groups, and how to prevent and respond to emergencies. Course also includes tips on how to promote yourself as a babysitter to prospective parents.

  • When: Saturday May 8, 2021. 9 AM- 4:30 PM
  • Where: Fallen Alders Hall
  • Cost: $70/participant. Bursaries are available. If financial restraints are a barrier to participating in this program please contact ccss.coordinator@gmail.com

COVID-19 Safety Protocols: Program will take place at the Fallen Alders Hall, a large space with good air circulation. Participants will practice physical distancing and wear masks. Students will team up with a partner and stay with that same partner all day. If possible, sign up with a friend in your cohort! Please stay home if you are sick or have been exposed to someone with COVID-19.

Participants should bring a pencil or pen, lunch and a water bottle.
