Join us for an afternoon of weeding, mulching and visiting with friends in our lovely Community Garden!

Students have been working hard this spring to maintain our Garden but could use a few extra helping hands. Bring your gloves, kids, friends and neighbours and spend some time gardening, playing at the park or just hanging out with friends!

Look forward to seeing you there!

Coming Soon- Cumberland Walking School Bus!

To celebrate Earth Week the CCSS and staff at Cumberland Elementary organized a super fun and  successful Walking School Bus! We created 4 different routes within the Village with community volunteers supervising each route. Everyone had a great time and there were a lot less families driving to school.

We are currently looking for volunteers to supervise a Walking School Bus on Wednesday mornings for the rest of the year. Please contact  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it if you would like to help out with this initiative!
